Shershun secures Dnipro return

Cause for regret
The 24-year-old Ukrainian international will put pen to paper on a two-year contract on Monday after the clubs concluded negotiations for the player. "I am signing on Monday," Shershun stated. "My two-year contract with Dnipro will be as good as the one I had with CSKA. The only pity is to be leaving CSKA and the great dressing room there, but I need more matches."

Limited opportunities
Shershun made 59 appearances in four seasons in the Russian capital, having joined CSKA from Dnipro in 2002. Dnipro will enter the UEFA Cup in the second qualifying round.
