UEFA Cup holders Sevilla FC will be without Antonio Puerta and Adriano Correia as they travel to FC Slovan Liberec for their opening group stage game.

Starting positions
Coach Juande Ramos did not include either player in the party for the game in the Czech Republic although both were in the starting XI for their 3-1 Primera División defeat at UEFA Champions League holders FC Barcelona at the weekend. Puerta, who made his Spain debut in the 2-0 UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying defeat in Sweden, is suffering from internal bleeding in his knee while Brazilian Adriano has pulled his right hamstring. The duo join Ernesto Chevantón, who has a back injury, and Andreas Hinkel, who has pulled a calf muscle, on the sick list.
