Rangers FC striker Dado Pršo has been given the all clear to play on for at least one more season after doctors eased fears that his career could be over.

Rangers FC striker Dado Pršo has been given the all clear to play on for at least one more season.

Career fears
The 32-year-old former Croatian international has been plagued with knee injuries throughout his career and had put his future in the hands of a specialist amid fears he might have to hang up his boots in the summer. However, the former AS Monaco FC striker has now been told he can extend his three-year stay at Ibrox.

'No risks'
His agent Ranko Stojić said: "Dado wants to play on for as long as possible and he is feeling much better than he was a few weeks ago. He will see how things go between now and the end of the season, but the doctor has said there are no risks for him or his club." Pršo is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and will miss next week's UEFA Cup Round of 32 first-leg tie against Israeli side Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC.
