Quim doubtful for PSG decider

Goalkeeper Quim is a major doubt for SL Benfica's UEFA Cup last-16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain FC after spraining his left knee last night.

Quim is a major doubt for SL Benfica's crucial UEFA Cup match against Paris Saint-Germain FC on Thursday after spraining his left knee during the 2-0 home victory against UD Leiria last night.

Moreira chance
The 31-year-old goalkeeper suffered the injury midway through the second half after colliding with Serge N'Gal, and was replaced by José Moreira. It was the 24-year-old's first appearance in 18 months, but he might not have to wait long for another as Quim appears unlikely recover in time for Benfica's Round of 16 second leg against PSG.

Luisão loss
The Portuguese Liga outfit lost the first encounter 2-1, and coach Fernando Santos will also have to do without centre-back Luisão who has not recovered from a knee injury picked up in the French capital. The 19-year-old David Luiz is expected to face PSG after deputising against Leiria when Simão and Petit were on target to move Benfica within four points of league leaders FC Porto.
