UEFA Cup contenders FC Sochaux-Montbéliard have signed Senegalese left-back Boukary Dramé from Ligue 1 rivals Paris Saint-Germain FC for an undisclosed fee.

Extended chance
The 22-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the French Cup holders having appeared in 20 games for PSG last season as they escaped relegation. "Sochaux are a side who will give me my chance over the course of one full season, which was something I could not be sure of in Paris," Dramé said. Sochaux meet PSG on Saturday in their opening Ligue 1 game of the season. "I look forward to playing in that game," added Dramé.

New arrivals
Dramé is the second left-back to join Sochaux this summer following the arrival of Slovenian defender Bojan Jokič from NK Gorica. The club are keen to have two strong players to compete for the position, with first-choice Dušan Tošić expected to leave soon. New coach Frédéric Hantz has already overseen the signings of Lionel Mathis and Stéphane Dalmat. Sochaux start their UEFA Cup campaign in the first round in September.
