Mangane had only made seven league appearances for his new side after completing a summer move from Neuchâtel Xamax FC, where he had played 150 league matches and scored 14 goals in six years. However, the twice-capped Senegalese international so impressed during the 1-1 draw at the Stade de Suisse two weeks ago that Lens swooped for the 24-year-old, who agreed a five-year deal on Monday.
