RSC Anderlecht are on the hunt for a third successive 3-0 win in Denmark as they visit an Aalborg BK side already playing their ninth European tie this season.

• This will be AaB's first Group H game while Anderlecht won their opener 2-0 at home against Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC - Nicolás Frutos scoring in each half.

• AaB's next goal will be their 50th in UEFA club competition.

• The two sides have never met in European competition.

• AaB have played three games against Belgian sides, all of them in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Their record is won one, drawn one and lost one, with that lone victory coming in their only previous home tie against Belgian opposition - a 2-1 win against KAA Gent this summer.

• Anderlecht have played four games against Danish opponents in the past and have won all of them by at least two goals.

• The Belgian champions have proved even more dangerous in the away legs of those ties. They have won 3-0 on both of their previous trips to Denmark.

• AaB forward Jeppe Curth and veteran Anderlecht midfielder Bart Goor played together in their only season at Feyenoord in 2004/05. Curth did not make a single first-team appearance, and spent much of the campaign on loan at SC Excelsior.

• Anderlecht coach Franky Vercauteren never came up against a Danish club side in his playing days but played for Belgium in a game against Denmark at the 1984 UEFA European Championship. Vercauteren scored after 39 minutes to put his side 2-0 up, but Belgium ended up losing 3-2.

• Anderlecht have won their only previous UEFA Cup away tie this season, 1-0 at SK Rapid Wien in the first round.

• This is the ninth European game of the season for Erik Hamrén's AaB whose campaign began in the second round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup.

• AaB are unbeaten in their last six European home games, although four of those matches have ended in draws.

• Hapoel Tel-Aviv are at home against Tottenham Hotspur FC in the day's other Group G game.
