IF Elfsborg and FK Mladá Boleslav will look to get their Group C campaigns back on track as the bottom two sides in the section meet in Sweden.

• Elfsborg are still reeling after a 6-1 defeat by ACF Fiorentina on Matchday 2, their heaviest away defeat in European competition. It matched their worst ever result, a 6-1 loss at home to Legia Warszawa in the 2001/02 UEFA Cup first round.

• Elfsborg had earned a creditable 1-1 draw at home against AEK Athens FC on Matchday 1 and are fourth in the section.

• Mladá Boleslav also equalled their worst ever home defeat on Matchday 2, losing 2-1 at home against Villarreal CF. It was the third time they have lost at home in European competition. They are at the foot of Group C having sat out Matchday 1.

• The two sides have never met in UEFA club competition and neither side has come up against opposition from their respective countries.

• Swedish and Czech men's club teams have met in 24 UEFA club competition matches to date. The Swedish side has won four of those, drawn nine and lost eleven.

• On Swedish soil, the home side has won four times, drawing five and losing three.

• Having started their campaign in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, this will be Elfsborg's eleventh European game this season.

• In their five UEFA club competition home ties in 2007/08, they have won only once, drawing two and losing two. They scored just three times in those five matches.

• Mladá Boleslav are unbeaten in their last three European away games, beating US Città di Palermo 1-0 in Italy in their only UEFA Cup tie on their travels this season.

• The Czech side are still awaiting a first group stage win, having drawn three and lost two of their five ties in the competition over the last two seasons.

• Marek Matějovský's next caution will incur a one-match ban, while Tomáš Sedláček is suspended.
