Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is likely to miss both legs of ACF Fiorentina's UEFA Cup last 32 tie with Rosenborg BK after pulling up with a thigh injury.

Three-week absence
The 22-year-old striker suffered the knock in training on Thursday and the initial prognosis from the Viola medical camp suggests he will be sidelined for up to three weeks. That would rule the Italy Under-21 starlet out of both meetings with Rosenborg, on 14 February in Norway and in Italy a week later. Used sparingly in Serie A this season, the Buenos Aires-born Osvaldo has made four UEFA Cup appearances this season, scoring against AEK Athens FC in November.
