"It was a very important win for us," said Paris Saint-Germain FC midfielder Javier Pastore after his stunning volley secured a 1-0 Group F victory against ŠK Slovan Bratislava. PSG now need a point to qualify while Slovan are out, although forward Filip Šebo was pleased with how his side performed against the French league leaders.

Javier Pastore, PSG midfielder
It was a very important win for us and one which will allow us to approach our final group games in a calmer manner. My goal was a bit like my one against Montpellier in the league earlier this season. It was an excellent ball in from Nenê and I scored. I keep getting chances and that's the most important thing. I feel really good.

Mohamed Sissoko, PSG midfielder
This was a difficult match for us and the main thing was that we took the three points and that we are second in the group. We can be satisfied with the result. Pastore got a good ball from Nenê and then his talent spoke for itself. It was a lovely volley which got us off the hook this evening. If we get a draw from our next game then we'll go through. We did the hardest thing tonight, which was to win against Slovan Bratislava.

Christophe Jallet, PSG defender
This was a really good result for us in terms of the group table. It wasn't an exceptional performance, but we got the three points and that was the most important thing. After four or five crosses from us that had come to nothing, Nenê set up Javier perfectly for the goal and it was a great volley.

Filip Šebo, Slovan forward
I think we played well. If we had taken the last chance we had for Juraj Halenár then it would have been another game. When Pastore scored it was difficult to play for the draw from there. We are satisfied because we managed to compete with PSG and we can be happy with that.

I'm not disappointed that we've gone out. This is just our first season in the UEFA Europa League and we have gained experience. I just hope that we manage to take some points from our final two matches. PSG are a quality side with very good players – I think we can benefit from having played these matches against them. I wish them good luck and I think they can go very far in the competition.
