FC TVMK Tallinn 0-1 FC Dinamo Tbilisi(Agg: 1-5) Georgian side progress after win.

FC TVMK Tallinn 0-1 FC Dinamo Tbilisi (Dinamo win 4-1 on aggregate)

Away side attack
Dinamo, featuring ten players in their starting lineup that represent their country at Under-21 or full international level, started the qualifying round second leg as favourites should, with plenty of skilful attacking.

First attempt
Their first attempt on target came in the seventh minute, when Giorgi Anchabadze’s shot was easily stopped by TVMK goalkeeper Sergei Ussoltsev. Five minutes later Brazilian Carlos Alberto da Rocha tried to surprise Ussoltsev from 25 metres, but the goalkeeper collected firmly.

TVMK look dangerous
Just when it seemed Dinamo had a grip on the match, TVMK made some dangerous counterattacks and Estonian Meistriliiga top scorer Andrei Krõlov came close twice. First, a header in the 20th minute was saved by 33-year-old Dinamo keeper Irakli Zoidze. Then Krõlov's next chance a minute later was cleared by visiting captain Giorgi Shashiashvili. In the 29th minute da Rocha engineered a great solo effort, passing three TVMK defenders, but he hit the ball just wide from the edge of the penalty area.

Teever goal ruled offside
Da Rocha looked to have put Dinamo ahead on the hour, when he received a backheel pass from Lado Akhalaia only to fire the ball off the underside of the crossbar, where Ussoltsev’s great reflexes saved TVMK. But within a minute, TVMK had the ball in the net after Zoidze dropped Krõlov’s shot and substitute Ingemar Teever scored from the rebound, only to see his effort ruled out for offside.

Akhalaia scores
The little hope TVMK had disappeared when Anton Mõkolenko received his marching orders following his second booking in the 71st minute. Dinamo only required three minutes to take advantage of the situation Lado Akhalaia intercepted a poor backpass to turn and hit a great right-footed volley past Ussoltsev. Moments later Dinamo almost extended their lead but Ussoltsev denied Vitali Daraselia, before substitute Giorgi Mikadze hit the post in the last minute.
