Lulić leaves Young Boys for Lazio

Bosnia and Herzegovinia left-back Senad Lulić promised "to provide good crosses for our strikers and score some goals" after joining S.S. Lazio from BSC Young Boys.

S.S. Lazio have signed Bosnia and Herzegovinia international left-back Senad Lulić from Swiss side BSC Young Boys, for a fee believed to be around €3m.

The 25-year-old has committed until summer 2016 with the Rome side, who finished fifth in Serie A last season to earn a place in the 2011/12 UEFA Europa League play-offs. Nicknamed Speedy, Lulić has spent his entire professional career in Switzerland, representing AC Bellinzona and Grasshopper-Club before moving to Berne last summer.

"It has been a long day for me," said Mostar-born Lulić, who can also play in midfield. "A dream is coming true. I will play for a top Serie A club and live in a wonderful city like Rome. I'm here to provide good crosses for our strikers and score some goals."
