NK Dinamo Zagreb coach Nikola Jurcevic has become the Croatian club's new sports director.
Dual role
The 37-year-old, who replaces Ilija Loncarevic, who has accepted the job of coach of the Libyan national side, in his new role, will continue as the side's coach. Jurcevic took over as Dinamo coach in the summer, replacing Miroslav Blazevic who left to take charge of Slovenia side NK Mura.
'Best option'
"It was decided that this is was the best possible option and easiest solution," said club spokesman Adolf Kozul. "Davor Bukovina will work as Jurcevic's assistant." Dinamo are currently top of the Prva Hrvatska Nogometna Liga with 19 points, having won all but one of their seven league matches to date and take on MTK Hungária FC in the UEFA Cup first round.
