The French Under-21 international broke his little finger in training this week and according to coach Joël Muller his recovery will take "three weeks to a month, at least".
Chabbert to return
Sébastien Chabbert, who has not played for the first team since the 2000/01 season, is expected to stand in for Itandje. He should therefore feature in the UEFA Cup first round second-leg tie against FK Cementarnica 55 on 15 October, with Finnish youngster Niki Maenpaä on the bench. Lens lead 1-0 from the away leg in F.Y.R. Macedonia.
