Parma AC defender Daniele Bonera is expected to be out of action for about two months after fracturing the fifth metatarsal of his right foot during yesterday's 4-0 Serie A defeat against Juventus FC.

Scan confirms injury
The 22-year-old Italian international limped out after 38 minutes of the match at the Delle Alpi stadium and today he underwent a scan which confirmed the injury. Bonera hopes to recover in time for the UEFA Cup third-round match against Turkish side Gençlerbirligi SK on 26 February and 3 March.
