Silva seeks Valencia vindication

Valencia CF's David Silva hopes his side can put recent domestic disappointments against Club Atlético de Madrid and Real Racing Club behind them as they gear up to meet last season's beaten UEFA Cup finalists Werder Bremen in the UEFA Europa League round of 16. "Physically we are fine, me and the team," he said. "When the match begins it will be 11 against 11 and no excuses. We hope we will be ready to win."
