Schwarzer: Road trip pulled Fulham together

Published: Wednesday 21 April 2010, 19.46CET
Fulham FC goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer believes the squad's long, enforced road trip to Hamburger SV could aid team spirit in Thursday's UEFA Europa League semi-final first leg. "We watched a lot of movies and had a few chats, because we had enough time during this long journey," he said. "But it was OK. I think the journey pulled the team together and we have a really good atmosphere in the team. But I am used to travel because of my time in the Australian national team and we are professional footballers and it is our job."
