Paris Saint-Germain FC have made midfielder Mathieu Bodmer their first signing of the summer.

The 27-year-old joins from Olympique Lyonnais on a three-year deal for a fee reported to be in the region of €3.5m. "Paris has always been the side whose results I followed – I've never hidden that it's the club of my heart," he said.

Bodmer, who can also play at centre-back, moved to Lyon from LOSC Lille Métropole three years ago and made 68 Ligue 1 appearances for Les Gones. As French Cup winners, PSG will play in the UEFA Europa League play-offs next month.
