PFC CSKA Moskva moved through to the UEFA Europa League group stage in style as two late goals earned the Army Men a 2-1 play-off round second-leg victory at Anorthosis Famagusta FC, taking the aggregate score to 6-1.

CSKA took control of the tie with a 4-0 triumph in Moscow last week but seemed to be heading for a loss on the night in Cyprus after Cafú's 76th-minute strike. However, even the consolation of a second-leg success was denied Anorthosis as Seydou Doumbia, scorer of two goals last week, levelled with five minutes left and substitute Mark González then made it 2-1 to the visitors.

The 2004/05 UEFA Cup winners will go into Friday's group-stage draw at 13.00CET in Monaco along with holders Club Atlético de Madrid and 46 other sides to be decided this week. Ten of those will be the defeated clubs in the UEFA Champions League play-off round and the other 36 will emerge on Thursday when the remaining UEFA Europa League second legs are completed.
