Lucius hamstrung
The 27-year-old, who scored the Dutch side's equaliser in their 1-1 draw at AJ Auxerre in the UEFA Cup fourth round first leg last week, picked up a hamstring injury in Sunday's 1-0 Eredivisie defeat by Feyenoord and a scan revealed a small tear in the muscle.
One-month absence
Lucius, who has scored four times in 18 league games for the Eindhoven club this season, will therefore be sidelined for around a month, and joins forward Arjen Robben – who suffered a similar injury last week – in sitting out the return leg against French side Auxerre.
