Kirill Nababkin could miss the remainder of PFC CSKA Moskva's UEFA Europa League group matches after sustaining a facial injury.
CSKA won the Moscow derby against FC Spartak Moskva to finish second in the Premier-Liga and secure a place in next season's UEFA Champions League group stage. But the 3-1 victory came at a price for the Army Men, as Nababkin suffered a serious injury to his face in a collision with Spartak's Anton Khodyrev six minutes from time.
Doctors have yet to ascertain the length of Nababkin's absence but the former FC Moskva defender is certain to miss the 2 December encounter with FC Lausanne-Sport and may not return to take on AC Sparta Praha 13 days later. The Group F leaders are already through.
