Udinese Calcio will be deprived the services of Mauricio Isla and Antonio Di Natale for Thursday's UEFA Europa League round of 32 opener against PAOK FC after both players picked up injuries during the 2-1 loss to AC Milan on Saturday.
Isla left on a stretcher just after the hour and subsequent scans have revealed ligament damage to his right knee. The Chilean international midfielder is expected to require surgery and could be out for the remainder of the season.
Di Natale, Serie A leading scorer with 17 goals, was also forced to come off against the Rossoneri due to a fractured toe on his left foot. Though the length of his absence has yet to be confirmed, the Italy striker is certain to be unavailable for the visit of Greek rivals PAOK. The second leg takes place in Salonika on Thursday week.
