The international ticket sales phase for the 2012 UEFA Europa League final at the National Arena Bucharest in the Romanian capital on Wednesday 9 May begins today for international football fans.

The 2012 UEFA Europa League final ticket portal will open at 12.00CET on Wednesday 7 March when tickets go on sale to the international public – exclusively via UEFA.com.

Applicants will be able to apply for a maximum of two tickets per person (in the same price category) during a two-week period running from 7 March until Tuesday 20 March. Each applicant has to complete an online application form, and allocation will be decided by lottery.

Once the sales window is closed, every valid application will enter a ballot, irrespective of the time of submission within the application period, to determine which fans are allocated tickets for the National Arena Bucharest showpiece. Any ticket order that is not in accordance with the 2012 UEFA Europa League final ticketing Terms and Conditions will be rejected.

Tickets come in four price categories*:
Category 1: RON 500
Category 2: RON 250
Category 3: RON 150
Category 4: RON 100
*RON 100 = €23, exchange rate on 7 March 2012 – for information only

An administrative fee will be charged per successful ticket order as follows:
Ticket orders within Europe: RON 90
Ticket orders outside Europe: RON 150

Payment is by credit card only (MasterCard or Visa), and applicants will be informed by Thursday 29 March if they have been successful or not in the lottery. Tickets will then be dispatched by registered post no later than the end of April.

Orders can also be put in for wheelchair tickets, with each RON 100 wheelchair ticket including one free seat for an accompanying person (please check the UEFA Europa League final ticketing section for further information).
