Trabzonspor AŞ have added to their squad ahead of their upcoming UEFA Europa League campaign with the signings of Ivorian international defender Souleymane Bamba and Turkish international midfielder Soner Aydoğdu.
Centre-back Bamba, 27, joins the Turkish side from English Championship club Leicester City FC for a fee of €935,000 after 18 months with the Foxes. The former Hibernian FC, Dunfermline Athletic FC and Paris Saint-Germain FC player has signed a five-year contract with Trabzonspor.
Meanwhile, Aydoğdu, 21, has also penned a five-year deal, The left-footed central midfielder played 35 league matches for Gençlerbirliği SK last term, scoring four goals, and earned his first senior cap for Turkey in a friendly against Slovakia in February.
The duo's arrival comes hot on the heels of the signings of Yasin Öztekin, also from Gençlerbirliği, and Emre Güral from Bucaspor.
Trabzonspor will begin their UEFA Europa League campaign at the play-off stage in August.
