As Club Atlético de Madrid prepare to begin their UEFA Europa League title defence away to Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC in Group B on Thursday, forward Falcao has been discussing his love affair with the competition.

The Colombian international has scored 30 goals in 31 UEFA Europa League games over the last two campaigns – lifting the trophy with FC Porto and Atlético and collecting the top scorer award both times. In a session with UEFA.com in which the 26-year-old also answered users' questions sent via Twitter using #AskFalcao, Falcao chats about the hunger for glory in the Spanish capital, the influence of coach Diego Simeone and what underpins his success in front of goal.
