Hearts heartened by McAllister move

Scotland defender Jamie McAllister has joined UEFA Cup-bound Heart of Midlothian FC.

Houston delighted
Hearts assistant coach Peter Houston confirmed: "Left-back is a position we have been looking to fill for some time and we are delighted that Jamie has agreed to join us. I know there was competition for his signature from clubs down in England, so we're pleased that he's agreed to join Hearts." Hearts will compete in the UEFA Cup next season.
