Tottenham Hotspur FC have agreed a reported €30m fee with Valencia CF for Spanish international striker Roberto Soldado, who will move to White Hart Lane subject to a medical.
Spanish international Roberto Soldado is set to become a Tottenham Hotspur FC player after the north London club agreed a fee of reportedly €30m with Valencia CF for the striker.
Soldado will move to White Hart Lane subject to a medical. The 28-year-old leaves Valencia after three seasons at Mestalla, where he scored 59 goals in 101 Liga appearances. Prior to that, Soldado had spells with Getafe CF, CA Osasuna and Real Madrid CF. He has won 11 senior caps for his country, finding the net on six occasions. His most recent international outings came in the FIFA Confederations Cup in June.
Soldado will become Tottenham's third major summer signing following the acquisitions of Brazil midfielder Paulinho from SC Corinthians Paulista and Belgian international Nacer Chadli from FC Twente. Spurs will begin their European campaign in the UEFA Europa League play-offs later this month.
