Sevilla FC defender Nicolas Pareja will miss the UEFA Europa League home game against Estoril Praia on 28 November after sustaining a knee ligament strain.
The 29-year-old Argentinian international – on loan at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán from FC Spartak Moskva – injured his right knee during Sevilla's 3-1 Liga victory at RCD Espanyol on Sunday. Subsequent tests on the centre-back revealed he will be out of action for a month.
With matches against Estoril and SC Freiburg, on 12 December, to come in UEFA Europa League Group H, Unai Emery's section leaders appear on course for a place in the round of 32.
