SSC Napoli have completed the signing of goalkeeper Mariano Andújar in a co-ownership agreement with Serie A rivals Calcio Catania.

Andújar will have to wait until next season to challenge Pepe Reina for the No1 spot, however, after agreeing a deal to stay in Sicily on loan until June. Capped nine times by Argentina since making his international bow in 2009, the 30-year-old joined Catania from Club Estudiantes de La Plata in 2009 and has gone on to make 135 league appearances.

Third in Serie A, Rafael Benítez's side take on Swansea City AFC in the UEFA Europa League round of 32, with the first leg in Wales on 20 February.
