Real Betis Balompié must plan for Thursday's UEFA Europa League round of 32 return match at FC Rubin Kazan without full-back Nacho who has injured his left leg in training.
The 33-year-old defender – who recently recovered from a back complaint – suffered a badly bruised fibula at Betis's training ground on Monday, ruling him out of the trip to Russia where Rubin will hold a slight advantage after last week's 1-1 draw in Seville. Nacho was hurt when a team-mate landed on his leg after the veteran had fallen in a practice game.
Betis took a third-minute lead at the Benito Villamarín on Thursday thanks to Dídac Vilà, but were pegged back by ten-man opponents following Roman Eremenko's penalty 16 minutes from time.
