EA Guingamp have signed four players, three of them Danish, ahead of their first experience of the UEFA Europa League group stage.

The French Cup holders have brought in goalkeeper Jonas Lössl (FC Midtjylland), right-back Lars Jacobsen (FC København) and striker Ronnie Schwartz (Randers FC), all of whom arrive from Denmark's Super League, plus FC Lorient defender Maxime Baca.

Like the 31-year-old Baca, experienced campaigner Jacobsen, 34, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal. The 69-cap Danish international also has the option of a further 12 months. Lössl, 25, and Schwartz, 24, are tied to the north-west club until 2018.

Chairman Bertrand Desplat said the transfers are "evidence that the club is improving", adding: "We couldn't have completed these signings a year ago. We're a healthy club and this allowed us to act quickly in the market. We had opportunities in Denmark and we're happy to have taken them. The aim next season will be to keep improving."

After winning their second domestic cup in five years, Guingamp, beaten in the UEFA Europa League play-offs in 2009/10, will discover their group stage opponents when the draw takes place on 29 August.
