M'Vila itching for action at Inter

"I really hope to do great things," said midfielder Yann M'Vila after being loaned from FC Rubin Kazan to UEFA Europa League hopefuls FC Internazionale Milano.

UEFA Europa League contenders FC Internazionale Milano have signed 22-cap France midfielder Yann M'Vila on loan from FC Rubin Kazan, with the option of a permanent move next summer.

"I want to tell the fans that I really hope to do great things this season," said the 24-year-old defensive midfielder, who moved to Rubin in January 2013 after making 126 Ligue 1 appearances for Stade Rennais FC. "I am happy to be here at such an important club, and I hope Inter have a bright future."

Fifth in Serie A last season, Inter will start their UEFA Europa League campaign in the play-offs on 21 and 28 August.
