Europa League draw reaction

UEFA.com brings you all the reaction from across the continent as the UEFA Europa League contenders take stock following the draw for the third qualifying round.

With the draw concluded for the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, we bring you the reaction from across the continent as the contenders weigh up their chances of making the play-offs.

THE DRAW IN FULL

Ivan Matić, RNK Split coach
(drawn v FC Chornomorets Odesa)
If we reach the next round we will be faced with a very difficult task. There was not luck for us in the draw as they are very dangerous. They showed that against Dinamo Zagreb in the last season's Europa League matches.

Niklas Bärkroth, IF Brommapojkarna forward
(drawn v Torino FC)
It is a lot of fun for us players, our supporters and the entire youth section. Sure it will be tough, but all pressure is on them. Normally they would win nine out of ten matches against us. We will hope that Torino have a poor day while we have one of our better ones.

Ahmet İlhan Özek, Kardemir Karabükspor midfielder
(drawn v Rosenborg BK or Sligo Rovers FC)
I think we were lucky in the draw. We know Rosenborg since their time as UEFA Champions League regulars but recently haven't heard much from them. Sligo won the first leg so they might have more chance to face us. We strengthened our squad with several summer signings and aim to reach the group stage.

İshak Doğan, Kardemir Karabükspor defender
(drawn v  Rosenborg BK or Sligo Rovers FC)
We will compete in European competition for the first time in our 45-year history. Therefore the whole city and the fans are very much looking forward to the ties. We want to reach the group stage. Right now, the level of the teams is more or less equal, so I do not have a preference in terms of the opposition.

If Rosenborg are our opponents, the Norwegian league is currently being played but I do not think this will have an influence on the game as we are a young and energetic side. If Sligo go through, I expect a lot of tough tackling and a battle in every part of the field. We will be ready to face any opponent.

Hubert Fournier, Olympique Lyonnais coach
(drawn v FK Mladá Boleslav or NK Široki Brijeg)
We will start looking at these teams in order to prepare for the tie. Qualifying rounds are always difficult games. We are drawn versus teams we don't know, so let's stay vigilant and humble. The positive thing is that the second leg will take place at home, which is an advantage.

Samson Pruidze, FC Chikhura Sachkhere coach
(drawn v Neftçi PFK or FC Koper)
We defeated Neftçi 3-2 at a recent training camp, while enjoying another game which ended in a goalless draw. Koper managed to beat them in Azerbaijan, so this Slovenian team must be really good. We don't think about possible opponents yet. Before that we have a home match versus Bursaspor. This is a really strong team with great attacking potential, so we'll see what we can do.

Stanislav Cherchesov, FC Dinamo Moskva coach
(drawn v Hapoel Kiryat Shmona FC)
I can't say anthing specific on Hapoel Kiryat Shmona. All Israeli teams are quick and their players have good technique. In the Europa League everyone wants to go as far as possible. I am always calm about the outcome of the draw – we will do our best to prepare and motivate the team.

Evan McMillan, Sligo Rovers FC defender
(drawn v Kardemir Karabükspor)

António Silva Campos, Rio Ave FC president
(drawn v Győri ETO FC or IFK Göteborg)
In theory, we will get Göteborg. It is important to play the first leg away, given the second is on 7 August and the Portuguese Super Cup, against Benfica, is scheduled three days later. We believe in our qualities, in our squad's value. It won't be easy, but I am confident we can achieve our goal of getting to the next stage.

Per Rud, Brøndby IF sporting director
(drawn v Club Brugge KV)
Club Brügge are a top-class team. I suppose there is a 30 or 40% chance to knock them out over two matches. Obviously, it is an advantage for us to finish at home, though.

Niels Frederiksen, Esbjerg fB coach
(drawn v Ruch Chorzów or FC Vaduz)
If we get through to that round, I think it is a fine draw for us. No matter which team we play, our journey for the away match will be considerably shorter than our trip to Kazakhstan this week, and without having any detailed knowledge of either of the teams, I would say our chances against both should be good.

Martin Ševela, AS Trencín coach
(drawn v Hull City AFC)
Hull are the most attractive opponent from our pot. For Slovak players it could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play against a team from the Premier League. It is a big motivation for us, but before that we have to overcome Vojvodina. I will tell the players to make the most of this and not waste such a good opportunity.

Slaven Musa, NK Široki Brijeg coach
(drawn v Olympique Lyonnais)
We have a result that gives us hope of progress, but we will be playing against a big favourite in Lyon.

Adem Adžem, FK Željezničar
(drawn v FK Budućnost Podgorica or AC Omonia)
If we win against Metalurg [Skopje], which we can, we have a fair chance, probably against Omonia from Cyprus.

Dženan Uščuplićm, FK Sarajevo coach
(drawn v Atromitos FC)
Although we lost at home [against FK Haugesund], we are hoping to make the next round, but then a very good Greek team is awaiting us.
