R. Standard de Liège have announced that Ivan Vukomanović will continue as their coach until the end of the season.

The 37-year-old Serbian became interim boss when Guy Luzon stepped down on 20 October, having been the Israeli's assistant. His first match was the 0-0 UEFA Europa League Group G draw at home to holders Sevilla FC, while he has recorded three wins in three in domestic football – all without conceding. Ahead of tomorrow's return fixture in Seville, Standard say that they have now contracted Vukomanović to stay in charge until the close of the campaign.

The former midfielder joined Standard as Luzon's assistant in summer 2013, with his playing career having taken in spells at FK Obilić, FC Girondins de Bordeaux, FK Crvena zvezda, 1. FC Köln, FC Dinamo Moskva, KSC Lokeren OV and R. Antwerp FC among others.
