Playmaker's role
The 27-year-old, who is known for his powerful shot and neat touch, will take on the playmaker's role at Gençlerbirligi, joining after just 12 matches with Ankaragücü. Ceyhun came through the Galatasaray SK youth system and has also played for Fenerbahçe SK and Siirt JSK. Gençlerbirligi, who are eleventh in the Turkish Superleague after four games, kick off their UEFA Cup campaign away to Greek side Egaleo FC in Athens on 16 September.
