Middlesbrough FC's French defender Franck Queudrue has signed a contract extension until 2008.
The 26-year-old left-back agreed the year's extension to his original deal, becoming the seventh player since the end of last season to accept new terms. Queudrue joined Middlesbrough on loan from RC Lens during the 2001/02 campaign after which he sealed a permanent move to the Premiership club.
Middlesbrough, English League Cup winners last term, will play in Europe for the first time in their history. They face Czech side FC Baník Ostrava in the first round of the UEFA Cup on 16 and 30 September.
