Having twice set record UEFA Europa League qualifying attendances already this season, Borussia Dortmund have now taken Schalke's group stage best, 55,200 watching them win 2-1 against Krasnodar in Group C on Thursday evening.
The previous high of 53,123 had been achieved by Schalke (who also lost their qualifying record to BVB in August) against Steaua Bucureşti in 2011/12.
