Borussia Dortmund's Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been named Player of the Year in Armenia for the fifth time in succession – and the sixth time in total.
"Feel honored at being voted best Armenian player of 2015," the 26-year-old midfielder said on social media. "Thanks to all those who have been with me since I made my first steps with the national team."
The former Shakhtar Donetsk player edged out Dijon's Gaël Andonyan and Aktobe's Marcos Pizzelli after helping Dortmund to reach the UEFA Europa League round of 32, where they will face Porto.
New national-team coach Varuzhan Sukiasyan was named Armenia's best coach ahead of Alashkert's Avraam Hashmanyan and Pyunik's Sargis Hovsepyan, who took the award last year.
