Villarreal rue Arruabarrena absence

Villarreal CF will be without left-back Rodolfo Arruabarrena for their group stage opener against S.S. Lazio.

Hamstring injury
The 29-year-old definitely misses the Group E trip to Rome after being ruled out for three to four weeks with a pulled hamstring. Arruabarrena complained of a sore hamstring in training on Tuesday and an MRI scan today revealed the extent of the injury.

Middlesbrough target
The defender will now aim to be fit for the Spanish club's second group game, at home to English side Middlesbrough FC on 25 November.
