MANCHESTER UNITED v CELTA VIGO

Arsenal 2-0 Manchester United (Xhaka 54, Welbeck 57)

To make matters worse, former United forward Danny Welbeck was among the goals as the Red Devils' record run of 25 Premier League games without defeat came to an end.

Málaga 3-0 Celta (Javier Ontiveros 26, Recio 56pen, Ramírez 90+2)
Celta will have to arrest a sequence of five reverses in all competitions if they are to have any chance at Old Trafford on Thursday. Coach Eduardo Berizzo again fielded a much-changed line-up and his team were comfortably swept aside, Javier Ontiveros beginning a miserable evening for the visitors with a sublime solo effort. The Galician club's fourth consecutive Liga defeat left them 12th as Málaga moved ahead in the standings.
