An all-out attacking game between Ajax and Lyon favoured the Dutch side's forwards, while United's Marcus Rashford is up to six in the official UEFA Europa League form tracker after a memorable finish at Celta.

1st: Bertrand Traoré (Ajax)
Two goals and assist in the 4-1 win over Lyon thrust the Burkina Faso forward up 44 places to the top of the pile. His tally now stands at four goals and four assists in 11 UEFA Europa League matches this season.

Ajax star Traoré: We want our place in the final

"We can't throw this great night away," he told UEFA.com after the game. "We have to enjoy the victory, but at the same time stay focused and try to secure our qualification next Thursday. We want to play in this final so we will fight for it."

2nd: Amin Younes (Ajax)
No player had more successful dribbles (65) in the UEFA Europa League this season before the semi-finals than Amin Younes and he has added another seven against Lyon. He also had a goal to shor for his four attempts against Lyon.and moved up ten places into second spot.

3rd: Paul Pogba (Manchester United)
The Frenchman had 75 touches against Celta – the most of any player in the game – and 16 of his 41 completed passes came in the final third. He also produced a game-high six dribbles and was a stand-out performer for United.

"I feel good about the result, but you have to be careful," he told UEFA.com. "The job is not finished and we aren't through. We just won one game, but it was a good result and now we have to focus on the next game. It is an objective for us to win [the UEFA Europa League] but like I said, we are not there yet and we have to focus on the next game."

4th: Anthony Lopes (Lyon)
Despite conceding four goals, the Lyon goalkeeper moved up six places in the rankings, nine saves from shots inside his area having spared his side an even heavier defeat. He is now the top-ranked goalkeeper in the competition.

Highlights: Watch Rashford's stunning free-kick

5th: Hakim Ziyech (Ajax)
But for Traoré, Ziyech would have been the one grabbing the limelight after three assists. The playmaker had an outstanding game creating six chances and producing six crosses, while 12 of his 29 completed passes came in the final third.

6th: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
The 19-year-old No19 scored his 19th goal of the season against Celta with the first free-kick conversion of his senior career. He has looked to fill the gap in the absence of the injured Zlatan Ibrahimović, scoring key goals against Chelsea and Anderlecht.

Patrik Andersson's view
The Ajax game was a real thriller; 4-1, but it could easily have been 8-4. Hard to watch for a former defender, maybe, but Traoré and Ziyech were excellent. It looks like game over from the scoreline, but I have seen Lyon this season, and they are more than capable of hitting three in the return leg. Celta v United was pretty cagey by comparison. Great hit by Rashford for United's goal but they should have had more – and Celta's great away form could be a factor next week.
