There are 44 teams vying it out in the play-offs and ten more set to parachute in from the UEFA Champions League – but who are the 16 clubs already in the UEFA Europa League group stage?

UEFA Europa League qualifying has been going since June, but there are 16 clubs who have long since been assured of a place in the group stage thanks to their domestic exploits last season.

*The Cup winner of the association ranked 13th in the 2017/18 access list was handed an automatic group stage berth as Manchester United – who would have been in the group stage based on last season's Premier League position will instead play in the UEFA Champions League as UEFA Europa League winners.

A country's representation in the UEFA Europa League is determined by its UEFA coefficient ranking as of the start of the previous season, which is calculated over a five-year basis.
