Group C reaction: FC Utrecht and Real Zaragoza were gracious in defeat on Thursday night.
Dnipro profited from an early mistake and after that we were chasing the game. Our passing was very inaccurate in the first half. We wanted to get through using the wings, but didn't manage to do so. In the second half, we found more space because of our home advantage, but Dnipro proved to be very sharp on the counterattack. We have to recognise we were playing against a very good opponent. Utrecht coach Foeke Booy
Utrecht are strong at home, so our plan was to be very solid in defence and to counterattack at every possible opportunity. We marked Utrecht's main men and overall the defence did what it had to. We carried out the plan successfully and showed great will and determination. Dnipro assistant coach Vadim Tyshenko
The team showed we have quality and patience. We didn't make mistakes like we have in the past and we knew that we would get our chance. We attacked with control and deserved this victory. If we can work with this team for another two or three years we can achieve big things. Austria sports manager Günter Kronsteiner
We didn't play well. Austria stopped us from playing our normal game. They left us few spaces in the centre and completely blocked both wings, which made it harder for us to attack them. It was a close match and maybe a draw would have been a fairer reflection. But the scoreline reflects the strength and work that Austria put in. Zaragoza coach Víctor Muñoz
