Besiktas JK forward Daniel Pancu is set to miss their next two UEFA Cup Group B matches after suffering a knee injury.
The Romanian international picked up the injury in Turkish Superleague action against Konyaspor on Sunday and is out for at least three weeks. Club physio Yalçin Yavuzer said: "His treatment will last two weeks and at the end of the third week he can start training with the team."
Pancu is therefore likely to sit out the group leaders' trip to FC Steaua Bucuresti on 25 November and is very doubtful for the visit of R. Standard de Liège six days later. He was already suspended for Romania's FIFA World Cup qualifier in Armenia on Wednesday week.
