Togo striker Mohamed Kader has left Servette FC to join French club FC Sochaux-Montbéliard on a three-year contract.

Move required
The 25-year-old had needed to find a new team due to the ongoing financial problems at Swiss side Servette. However, Kader will not be eligible to play for Sochaux in the remainder of their UEFA Cup campaign because he represented Servette in the competition's second qualifying round. Sochaux are due to meet Olympiacos CFP in the last 32 on 17 and 24 February.
