UEFA Cup contenders Olympiacos CFP have already begun building for next season by completing a deal for Armenia Under-21 midfield player Zhora Hovhannisyan.
The 17-year-old will join the Greek club in July on a five-year contract. The deal was signed between Olympiacos and Hovhannisyan's father, Khoren, who is also president of his current club, Armenian champions FC Pyunik. Hovhannisyan Sr was voted the country's Golden Player during last year's UEFA Jubilee celebrations.
Meanwhile, Olympiacos have won through to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup and will play English side Newcastle United FC over two legs after eliminating FC Schalke 04 last night. The first match will take place in Greece on 10 March, with the return at St James' Park seven days later.
