Venhlinskiy secures AEK switch

AEK Athens FC have signed striker Oleh Venhlinskiy from fellow UEFA Cup contenders FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

Two-year deal
The 27-year-old, who scored 31 goals in 57 league appearances for Dnipro after joining from FC Dynamo Kyiv in 2002, has agreed a two-year deal with the Greek club.

UEFA Cup rivals
He made his international debut in 1998 but has not played for Ukraine since winning the last of his six caps 12 months ago. Dnipro finished fourth in the Ukrainian Premier League last season and, like AEK, will compete in the UEFA Cup second qualifying round.
