'Easy decision'
Doriva, 33, joined the English Premiership club in January 2003 from RC Celta de Vigo and made 26 appearances in the 2004/05 campaign. He said: "It was an easy decision to sign a new contract because I'm very happy." Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Nigeria striker Yakubu has finalised his €11m move from Portsmouth FC on a five-year contract, after being granted a work permit.
