The 27-year-old will miss Krylya Sovetov's UEFA Cup first-round ties against AZ Alkmaar, as well as Lithuania's FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. He joined the Samara side on loan from FC Alania Vladikavkaz this summer.
Other injury worries
Krylya Sovetov are also without injured defenders Karen Dokhoyan and Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov. South African international Matthew Booth, meanwhile, has just returned to the club after a financial dispute and lacks match fitness.
