Barreto move right for Wisla

The Brazilian midfielder André Paulo Barreto has joined Wisla Kraków from Boavista FC while Wisla winger Kamil Kosowski will play in England.

Five-year deal
The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract in Krakow. "Barreto is an experienced left-footed player with great technical ability," said Wisla spokesman Jerzy Jurczynski. "It is worth mentioning that he has also played in the UEFA Champions League."

Kosowski loaned
Meanwhile, Wisla, 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Southampton FC have reached agreement on the future of Polish international Kamil Kosowski. The 28-year-old left-winger, whose registration is owned by Wisla, was loaned to German club Kaiserslautern two years ago with that arrangement being renewed automatically each season. Now the three teams and the player have decided that Kosowski will spend the 2005/06 campaign on loan at English second division outfit Southampton.
